Personal Licence

We've come a long way in training over the past few years. Well, some of us have!

The Personal Licence is one of those courses that we must do to obtain a Personal Licence but do we still really need to spend all day trying to soak up the drones of some ex publican reading from death by PowerPoint slides for 7 hours. I think not.

I'm not ashamed to say that I no longer train the Personal Licence face to face. I am a Power Point specialist and a professional close up magic entertainer but even I had to pull out all the stops to keep my learners from sliding down their chairs as the day wore on.

In 2009 I took myself off the circuit and spent two years perfecting new ways to deliver the course through e-learning. It offers more diversity for the learner, enabling them to learn at their own pace, review sections at will, learn through quizzes and other interaction and complete when and where it suits them.

The 40 minute exam still has to be invigilated but with a national chain of exam centres on board, my clients simply turn up to one locally, on a day and a time that suits them and sit the exam

It's certainly the way forward. I sold more Personal Licences in the past 12 months than the past 4 years!

Not only that at £119 if just about the cheapest way to take it too.
